FAQs

Do you shoot destination weddings?

Yes, I love to travel! If you’re getting married in Scotland, Ireland, Europe or further afield please get in touch for a bespoke travel quote.

Can you hold our wedding date?

Unfortunately, I can’t hold wedding dates as I get booked up quickly.

What do we do if we’d like to book you?
All I require is a booking form to be filled in along with a booking fee, and that’s it!

Do you offer engagement photoshoots?

I do! Engagements sessions are relaxed photo shoots with you as a couple, These pictures are great for ‘save the dates’, ‘signature frames’, and just beautiful images for you to treasure. I can help you through the process with location and wardrobe suggestions.

When is the final balance due?

The final balance is due 14 days before your wedding date. I’ll invoice in plenty of notice in case you wanted to settle the balance early.

Can we have a second shooter?

Yes of course!
For the majority of weddings, I work alone and am able to capture the entire day covering lots of ground.

However, for large weddings with 200+ guests and lots of different locations, I would recommend a second shooter. I work with some very talented local second photographers and can include one for an additional price.

Do you take formal group photos as well as candid ones?

Yes, I do! I like to keep these short and sweet and limit formal group photographs to 20 minutes with a pre-organised listed so you can get back to your party quicker.

How many photos will you take and how many will we see?

I don’t have a fixed number that I will take on the day, there are lots of variables such as locations, the amount of time between the ceremony and wedding breakfast. Most weddings produce over 400-600 beautiful images and I only delete duplicates, poor lighting and unflattering angles.

What happens if your equipment malfunctions on the day?

I always make sure I have back up equipment just in case anything happened. I always have two camera bodies and an array of lenses, along with flashguns, spare batteries, and memory cards. So I'll be able to carry on shooting!

Do you have insurance?

Yes. Both public liability insurance and professional indemnity, I can provide certificates on request.

When can we see our images?

Your full set of wedding photographs will be available 6 weeks after your wedding date, sometimes sooner in the winter months. They’ll be on an online gallery which is sharable with your family and friends.

What is the online gallery?

Each of my couples has their own private online gallery. You’ll be able to view your wedding photos here, share on social media, or with friends and family. And begin designing your wedding album (if this is what you’ve chosen).
