Wiltshire Wedding Photographer | Lamar Tree Gardens

Beth & James wed in South Wiltshire, June 2019 at Larma Tree Gardens near Tollard Royal. It was my first time at Larma Tree and I really enjoyed capturing Beth & James’ wedding here, a simply stunning venue with a beautiful collection of ornate buildings.

Getting ready

Beth and her bridesmaids stayed in Moles Cottage, Farnham a lovely cottage perfect for brides and grooms to get ready before the big day.

It was so much fun to capture, such a lovely atmosphere, excitement and joy of the upcoming ceremony. I captured the bridesmaids getting ready, having a giggle over drinks and preparing for the party later on with pink gin filled hip flasks.

The ceremony

The ceremony was beautiful, very intimate and personalised for Beth & James with some lovely readings from their friends and family. After Beth & James said their vows and signed their marriage certificate everyone joined them outside for canapés and refreshing drinks in the sun.

The reception

The wedding reception took place outside in the 11acre grounds of Lamar Tree, South Wiltshire.

It was very relaxed and their were lots of games for the guests to play – giant jenga and badminton were extremely popular. Meanwhile I took Beth & James away from their guests for only a short moment, this let them take a second to take in the day, it also gave me a chance to capture some couple portraits with themselves. I kept it relaxed and natural as we walked around the gardens. There was lots of animals, including some very friendly peacocks, who couldn’t resist making an appearance in some of the photographs as you’ll see below.

The evening

The evening was lovely, everyone was invited for food and speeches in one of the many buildings at Larma tree. After, the guests were invited for a boogie in the dance room. Kieran Clarke provided musical entertainment in to the early hours of the morning, with an incredible lighting set up.
