Bristol Wedding Photographer | Old Down Estate

This was my first time as a wedding photographer at the manor at the old down estate and I was really looking forward to getting stuck in and capturing Emily and Victor’s day in such a lovely venue. I met Emily & Victor for coffee around a year before their wedding and I knew I was going to have an incredible day with them both, they both had a really fun, and relaxed vibe.

Getting ready

I met Victor and his groomsmen at the venue for some pre-wedding getting ready images. Victor was far from camera-shy, giving me plenty of poses to work with. With his father and groomsmen, we walked around the grounds taking some fun and candid images together, they were such great fun.

Emily got ready with her bridesmaids upstairs in the Manor at Old Down Estate. It was a really fun and relaxed atmosphere, she had a short walk to the ceremony room downstairs. Victors face lit up as soon as she entered the room, which was full of natural light.

The ceremony

The ceremony was beautiful and took place in the Manor house, this space is just perfect with so much natural light.

The reception

For the reception, everyone was invited for drinks and canapés outside. The sun was shining all day. After taking some family & friends photographs we took a stroll around the grounds to capture this beautiful couple with incredible backdrops Old Down Estate has to offer.

The evening

The sunset was incredible, and I took Emily and Victor outside for a few quick couple of portraits. You could see for miles, Even making out the Severn crossing.
