Miranda and Mike’s wedding at Arnos Vale in Bristol was incredible to capture. I absolutely love this venue — the mix of historic architecture and beautiful woodland grounds makes it such a unique space to photograph. From the Anglican Chapel to the Spielman Centre and Underwood Centre, there’s so much variety for couples to enjoy and for me to document.
M&M had a full Catholic ceremony with mass at St Mary on the Quay on Colston Avenue, and chose a bespoke photography package to cover portraits at the the end of the ceremony right through to the evening party at Arnos Vale.
The celebrations began with confetti outside the Spielman Centre, followed by drinks and mingling in the sunshine. I always love this part of the day — it’s the perfect chance to capture relaxed, candid moments of guests chatting, laughing, and soaking everything in. After that, we worked our way through Miranda and Mike’s list of family and group photos before heading off for some couple portraits while guests took their seats for the meal inside the Anglican Chapel.
Later in the evening, the party kicked off back in the Spielman Centre. Miranda and Mike cut their cake and had their first dance before their band took over and kept the dance floor full until the early hours.
It was such a brilliant day to be part of, and Arnos Vale once again proved why it’s one of my favourite Bristol wedding venues — full of charm, character, and endless photo opportunities.
