Hi, I’m Jacob — a Frome and Somerset wedding photographer, documenting relaxed weddings with a natural and storytelling approach.



My style of wedding photography is calm, unobtrusive and documentary-led. I focus on real moments, genuine reactions and honest connections, allowing your wedding day to unfold naturally without interruption or pressure.


I’ll step in with gentle guidance when it’s helpful — such as during couple portraits or family photos — but everything stays relaxed and unposed. The aim is always for you to feel comfortable and completely yourselves, so you can enjoy your ceremony and celebrations without feeling rushed or staged.

I’m a big fan of Frome and have had the pleasure of photographing many weddings here over the years. I love the variety the area offers — from the grandeur of Orchardleigh Estate, to the rustic charm of Court Farm in Standerwick, and more relaxed, festival-style celebrations like the tipi weddings at Noah’s Pond.


Beyond the venues, Frome’s creative spirit really sets it apart. The thriving arts scene, independent businesses and strong sense of community give weddings here a unique character that feels personal and full of life.


Set within some of Somerset’s most beautiful countryside, Frome is surrounded by charming villages and stunning rural venues. My documentary approach works particularly well here — capturing the day as it naturally unfolds, focusing on atmosphere, emotion and the people who matter most.
