Jenny and Jonathan’s spring wedding at Elmhay Park was an absolute dream to photograph — a day full of love, laughter, and the kind of relaxed atmosphere that makes everything feel effortless.
Set within the stunning grounds of the Orchardleigh Estate near Frome, Elmhay Park looked incredible in the spring light. The gardens were full of colour, and the beautiful Italian-style walled garden made the perfect backdrop for their ceremony.
Jenny and Jonathan wanted their wedding photos to feel natural and unposed — full of real moments, genuine smiles, and the little details that made their day so special. From the morning preparations in the bridal suite to guests enjoying drinks on the terrace, every part of the day felt joyful and relaxed.
After the ceremony, everyone gathered outside to enjoy canapés and sunshine before heading into the Orangery for dinner and speeches — and the celebrations carried on late into the evening with plenty of dancing.
I always love photographing weddings at Elmhay Park. It’s such a beautiful Somerset venue — elegant yet relaxed, with amazing light, gorgeous gardens, and plenty of space. Whether it’s a sunny outdoor ceremony or a cosy celebration inside the Orangery, it’s a venue that photographs beautifully in every season.
