As a Guyers House wedding photographer, it’s always a pleasure to photograph weddings at this elegant Wiltshire venue. Guyers House is a beautiful 4-star country house hotel in Corsham, near Bath, set within six acres of stunning gardens — perfect for relaxed couple portraits and natural wedding photography.


Bryony and Dan tied the knot here in October, surrounded by family and friends. Bryony is a mutual friend, so it was a real honour to be invited to capture their wedding day. They had spent months carefully planning every detail — from the autumnal colour scheme to the décor and timeline — and it all came together beautifully.


Bridal Preparations at Guyers House


I began the day photographing bridal preparations inside Guyers House. There was lots of singing along to KPop Demon Hunters and classic tunes, led by Bryony’s daughter and sisters — such a fun, high-energy start to the morning. Everyone was in great spirits, which made for natural, joyful photographs.


Before the ceremony, I also spent a little time with Dan and his groomsmen as they enjoyed a drink and welcomed guests. I always keep this part relaxed and candid, capturing genuine interactions rather than anything overly posed.


Autumn Ceremony & Confetti at Guyers House


The ceremony room looked beautiful and perfectly complemented their autumn-themed styling. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Bryony and Dan exchanged vows in a warm and intimate setting.


With the sun high in the sky, we were able to head straight outside afterwards for a confetti tunnel on the lawn — one of my favourite moments to photograph. Guests then enjoyed drinks and canapés in the gardens while I captured relaxed, documentary-style moments and a few natural couple portraits around the grounds.


The gardens at Guyers House are ideal for wedding photography — open space, soft light and elegant backdrops all within a short walk of the reception.


Marquee Reception & Evening Celebrations


The evening celebrations continued in a marquee on the grounds, creating a great indoor-outdoor flow. After a buffet, cake cutting and speeches, the dance floor quickly filled and celebrations carried on late into the evening.
