Bristol Wedding Photographer | Bristol North The Grange

Josie & Jack got married in Bristol, September 2019 at their local Jehovah witness church and then enjoyed a beautiful sunset at their wedding reception, North Bristol at the Grange Hotel. I had met Josie & Jack a few times before their wedding, once to take some lovely pre wedding couple photographs for their save the dates and RSVP’s

Getting ready

I arrived at Josie’s parent’s house to capture herself and all of her bridesmaids having their hair and makeup done. It was a lovely morning, everyone was breaming with smiles and excitement for the big day. I captured the atmosphere candidly and then took the bridesmaids into the garden for a quick group portrait before they changed into their dresses. 

The ceremony

Shortly after photographing Josie and her bridesmaids I traveled to Josie & Jack’s local JW church. Jack stood eagerly waiting for his bride, while he warmly met all of the family and friends who had traveled for the wedding. It was really lovely to capture the ceremony and the special moments Josie & Jack shared throughout the service.

The reception

The wedding reception took place at the Grange Hotel, North Bristol. It was a short drive from the reception, on arrival everyone was greeted with canapés and drinks and swiftly after a few formal photographs everyone was seated for speeches and their meal.

The evening

The evening was lovely. After the meal, the guests were invited for a boogie in the dance room. The DJ provided musical entertainment in to the early hours of the morning, with an great lighting set up.

I had a wonderful time capturing Josie & Jack’s wedding, and wish them all the best for their adventure together.
