Umbria Wedding Photographer
As an Umbria wedding photographer, it’s always a pleasure to capture weddings in such a beautiful part of Italy. With its rolling hills, warm light and relaxed atmosphere, Umbria offers the perfect setting for destination weddings.
Kim and Freddie’s wedding at Tenuta di Casa Bruciata was a brilliant example of everything that makes an Italian villa wedding so special.

Pre-Wedding Poolside Moments
I joined Kim and Freddie the day before the wedding to capture some relaxed poolside moments and to run through the final timings.
It was a great way to ease into the celebrations, with everyone already in great spirits. There were plenty of laughs along the way, including some fun, slightly more creative shots with Freddie and his best man James.

A Relaxed Morning in Umbria
The morning of the wedding was calm and completely relaxed.
I met Kim and her bridesmaids in one of the cottages at Tenuta di Casa Bruciata, where there was plenty of laughter, prosecco and excitement as everyone got ready together.
At the same time, I spent a bit of time with Freddie and the groomsmen, capturing some natural, behind-the-scenes moments before guests began to arrive.

Outdoor Ceremony with Countryside Views
As guests arrived from nearby towns, the atmosphere built ahead of the ceremony.
Set against the backdrop of the Umbrian countryside, the ceremony took place in beautiful clear conditions, with views stretching for miles. It’s hard to beat a setting like this, simple, open and completely focused on the moment.

Drinks Reception & Couple Portraits
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks and canapés while taking in the surroundings.
We then took some time to explore the grounds for couple portraits, making the most of the landscape and the villa itself. The infinity pool was a standout feature, creating some really unique reflection photographs and adding something a little different to their gallery.

Wedding Breakfast & Evening Celebrations
The reception took place inside a beautifully set room overlooking the countryside, with incredible food and a great atmosphere throughout.
Speeches followed, bringing a mix of humour and emotion, before the celebrations moved into the evening with music and dancing continuing late into the night.
One of the most personal touches of the day was the wedding cake, made on-site in one of the cottages by Nicole, a brilliant effort, especially in the Italian heat. It looked incredible (complete with a rabbit and bear detail) and tasted just as good.

A Destination Wedding in Umbria
Weddings like Kim and Freddie’s are a perfect example of why Umbria is such a sought-after destination. From relaxed poolside moments to stunning ceremony views and lively evening celebrations, it offers everything needed for a truly memorable wedding day.
It was a pleasure to capture the day in a natural, candid way, surrounded by such a welcoming group of people.
