Crowcombe Court Wedding Photographer
As a Crowcombe Court wedding photographer, it’s always a pleasure to return to this incredible Somerset venue. Crowcombe Court is a stunning 18th-century country estate set within the Quantock Hills, offering grand architecture, sweeping views and beautiful gardens — perfect for timeless yet relaxed wedding photography.
Dom and Rhianna married here in August on a day blessed with incredible sunshine — not a cloud in the sky. They’re friends from school, so it was a real honour to be asked to capture their wedding at Crowcombe Court.
Bridal Preparations at Crowcombe Court
The morning began in the bridal suite, where Rhianna was getting ready downstairs with her mum and sister. It was such a relaxed and fun atmosphere — glasses of champagne in hand while make-up was done by Romi and hair styled by Rhianna’s sister. These are always some of my favourite moments to photograph — natural, candid and full of anticipation.
Upstairs, at the very top of the house in the games room, Dom was getting ready with his best man, Dave. After helping each other with cufflinks and jackets, they even managed to squeeze in a quick game of snooker before heading downstairs to greet guests.
Ceremony in the Grand Entrance Hall
One of the standout features of Crowcombe Court is the main entrance hall where ceremonies take place. The room is light, airy and incredibly elegant, with ornate detailing and high ceilings that create a stunning backdrop for wedding photography.
Their ceremony was beautiful — heartfelt vows, ring exchanges and the signing of the register — followed by celebrations spilling out onto the front steps for confetti, drinks and canapés in the sunshine.
Garden Drinks & Live Music at Crowcombe Court
Guests enjoyed live music from John Adams in the gardens while soaking up the summer weather. For group photographs, I chose a spot around the side of the house — one of the most picturesque areas, offering even, shaded light that works perfectly for natural-looking group shots.
Afterwards, everyone moved into the dining room for speeches and an incredible three-course meal.
Sunset Portraits & Evening Celebrations
As guests relaxed outside in the late summer sun, I took Dom and Rhianna for some sunset couple portraits around the grounds and down by the pond. We kept everything relaxed and natural — nothing overly posed, just genuine moments between them.
The evening celebrations then moved downstairs to the cellar bar, where music from Kieran Clarke Entertainment kept the dance floor busy well into the early hours.
Crowcombe Court works beautifully for couples wanting a grand country house wedding in Somerset while still keeping the day relaxed and personal.
