Keighley and Neil’s wedding was exactly that, a day packed with energy, personality and plenty of fun.
A Pre-Ceremony Party to Start the Day
K & N decided to do things a little differently, kicking off their wedding day with a pre-ceremony party, and it set the tone perfectly.
Guests were welcomed with a mariachi band, creating an incredible atmosphere right from the start. Alongside the music, there were plenty of games, including darts and their now legendary “Crisp Mageddon” a crisp-themed quiz that brought everyone together and got people laughing early on.
It was such a fun and unique way to begin the celebrations, and something that really reflected their personalities.
An Intimate Ceremony at Deer’s Leap Retreat
Following the pre-ceremony celebrations, everyone gathered for a more intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family.
Deer’s Leap Retreat is such a great venue for this kind of setup, relaxed, informal and completely tailored to the couple. The ceremony felt personal and genuine, with a really lovely atmosphere throughout.
Confetti & Countryside Celebrations
After the ceremony, guests gathered outside for a confetti moment before continuing the celebrations across the grounds.
The day flowed naturally, with people moving between conversations, games and drinks, making the most of the setting. It’s always these in-between moments that make for the best candid photographs, and there were plenty throughout the day.
A Relaxed & Fun Wedding Atmosphere
From start to finish, the entire day felt relaxed and full of energy. There was no strict structure, just a focus on enjoying time with friends and family, which is exactly what makes weddings like this so great to photograph.
As the evening went on, the celebrations carried on into the night, with music, laughter and a packed atmosphere right through to the early hours.
