As an Eastington Park wedding photographer, it’s always a pleasure to return to this elegant Gloucestershire venue. Eastington Park is a stunning Georgian manor house surrounded by beautiful gardens, making it perfect for couples wanting a classic setting with a relaxed feel.

Beth and Jack married at Eastington Park in September. It was an absolutely beautiful day — with a few rain showers that we managed to dodge. I had previously photographed several weddings where Beth and Jack were guests, so it was a real honour to be chosen to capture their own wedding day.

Bridal Preparations & Morning Photography at Eastington Park

I arrived in the morning to say hello to Beth and photograph her bridal preparations. The light inside Eastington Park is always lovely for getting ready photos — soft, natural and flattering.

After greeting everyone, I found Jack and his groomsmen for a few relaxed, candid photographs while they were finishing getting ready before guests began to arrive. I always keep this part quick and easy-going so it doesn’t interrupt the flow of the morning.

Group Photos at Eastington Park

With rain forecast, we made the call to do the group photographs inside. It’s a brilliant space — large, bright and with high ceilings that allow me to bounce flash for soft, even lighting. Having strong indoor options is one of the reasons I enjoy photographing weddings at Eastington Park; no matter the weather, there’s always a good plan B.

Fortunately, the rain cleared afterwards and we were able to head outside for couple portraits in the gardens, along with natural, candid photographs of guests enjoying drinks and canapés on the lawn.

Reception & Evening Party at Eastington Park

The reception began with an incredible cheer as Beth and Jack were announced into the room, guests spinning napkins above their heads — such a great moment to capture. Speeches took place before the meal and were beautifully delivered, full of warmth and humour.

After dinner, additional evening guests arrived in time for cake cutting and live music from The Kabins, who brought fantastic energy to the dance floor and kept everyone celebrating late into the evening.
